राष्‍ट्रीय संस्‍मारक प्राधिकरण के शीर्ष- वाक्‍य के रूप में यह अत्‍यन्‍त उपयुक्‍त एवं सार्थक उक्‍ति है। ब्रह्म–ज्ञान की खोज में प्रार्थना की गई है कि सत्‍य हमें स्‍वयं प्रकट हो ताकि हम निष्‍कृष्‍ट एवं क्षणभंगुर वस्‍तुओं से पथभ्रष्‍ट न हों। यह न केवल राष्‍ट्रीय शीर्ष-वाक्‍य सत्‍यमेव जयते से अत्‍युत्‍तम रूप से जुड़ता है अपितु राष्‍ट्रीय संस्‍मारक प्राधिकरण के आधारभूत उद्देश्‍य को भी प्रतिबिंबित करता है, जिसमें राष्‍ट्रीय संस्‍मारक रूपी हमारी धरोहर का संरक्षण पवित्र सत्‍य-धर्म स्‍वरूप निहित है।

As the motto of the National Monuments Authority it is very appropriate and meaningful saying. While seeking the knowledge of Brahman, it is prayed that the truth may reveal itself to us so that we may not be misled by worthless ephemeral things. It not only wonderfully connects with the national motto of Satyameva Jayate but also reflects the underlying purpose of the National Monuments Authority, which involves a concerted effort to protect our heritage in the form of national monuments which represent the sacred lawful truth.
